In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Shekhar Bajaj, CMD of Bajaj Electricals spoke about the latest happenings in his company and the sector.
Bajaj said July was a month of implementation and therefore, it was very weak.
On business front, he said that 60 percent of the market is covered through new distribution model.
Bajaj is seeing 15-30 percent growth in states where new model has been rolled out.
According to him, light-emitting diode (LED) market share is at 7-8 percent currently.
Will not be interested in Kenstar because we are an established brand and Kenstar will not give us much mileage, said Bajaj.
