Bhaskar Bhat resigns from Tata Chem Board

In the latest development to the Tata-Mistry saga, CNBC-TV18 confirms that Bhaskar Bhat has resigned from Tata Chemicals Board. Bhat, it is learnt, has put in his papers over differences on Cyrus Mistry’s role.

Bhat had expressed displeasure at the continuation of Mistry as Chairman, and, it is believed, had taken a stance against the decision taken by Independent Directors.

This news comes in even as the Tata Chemicals Board had endorsed Mistry as its Chairman and reposed faith in him late last night.Watch video to follow...
