The PMO is very keen to restructure the PSU giant Coal India. The PMO wants to list the south-eastern coalfields and Mahanadi coalfields, reports CNBC-TV18.


As listing subsidiaries will push the companies to increase their production and will make them answerable to the shareholders. Pulok Chatterji has called for a meeting on October 5, with power secretary, coal secretary along with Coal India CMD to resolve the fuel supply agreement logjam.
