Irate KFA workers seek Chidambaram's aid on pay woes

CNBC-TV18 reports that irate KFA workers sought Chidambaram’s aid to resolve the non-payment of salaries by the airline management.

Angry Kingfisher Airlines employees on Tuesday protested outside the residence of finance minister P Chidambaram. The airline's staff has not been paid salaries for many months now. They were forcibly led away from Chidambaram's residence by the Delhi police.


"We want to talk to the finance minister P Chidambaram and ask him if this country follows any rules or regulations or and that Mallya for the last one year since October 31, 2012 has not been doing anything to ensure to payment of our salaries," Subhash Mishra of the KFA Engineers Association told CNBC-TV18.
