Well, with winter season comes the persistent problem of dullness and open pores. This explains why people in the US are heading to cosmetic clinics across Manhattan, Beverly Hills and Newport Beach to seek a 'ski bunny face'.

To be clear, 'ski bunny face' is not some skin treatment's name. It is a colloquial term used by doctors. So, what exactly does it mean do get a 'ski bunny face'? Well, you can expect sculpted cheekbones, lifted brows and a significant reduction in the size of open pores.

Courtney Coons, NP, a skin care and injectables specialist at ERK Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills said her company observes a seasonal spike in "pre-ski getaway" facial appointments. Based on their internal booking data, Botox and daxxify appointments increase by about 40% from November through January, lip filler requests by around 30% and hybrid skin-resurfacing laser and photofacial treatments increase up to 50%.
