The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has declared the results of the 2023 Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) today. Candidates can now check their results on the official website wbprimary.org.
WBBPE TET 2023 Exam Statistics
The TET examination was conducted on 24 December 2023.
- Registered candidates: 3,09,054
- Appeared candidates: 2,73,147
- Qualified candidates: 6,754
Top ranks: 64 candidates secured ranks between 1st and 10th (list released with official notification)
With the declaration of the results, the WBBPE has confirmed that the recruitment process for primary teachers across the state will begin shortly. Notifications for 13,421 vacancies in government and aided primary schools will be issued soon. The Finance Department has already approved these vacancies, and once the recruitment notification is published, the interview and selection process will start.
Eligibility for Previous TET Qualifiers
The board has clarified that candidates who cleared the 2022-23 TET and are still within the eligible age limit will also be allowed to apply for the upcoming recruitment process.
