Kareena Kapoor Khan and chakrasana (Wheel pose)
Kareena Kapoor Khan, known for her grace and fitness, incorporates chakrasana or Wheel Pose into her yoga practice. This pose begins with a thorough warm-up, including poses like bhujangasana (Cobra pose) and setu bandhasana (Bridge pose), which prepare her spine and shoulders. To enter chakrasana, Kareena lies on her back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Placing her hands beside her head, fingers pointing towards her shoulders, she presses firmly into the ground as she lifts her hips and chest skyward on an inhale.

Keeping her feet parallel and knees hip-width apart ensures protection for her lower back and knees. Kareena breathes deeply, holding the pose for several breaths, before gently lowering herself back down, prioritising safety and controlled movements. For those with back injuries, wrist issues, or high blood pressure, she advises caution and expert guidance. She said on her recent interview.
