Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, the sister of cricketer Virat Kohli, has categorically refuted any rumours indicating a falling out between her and her brother or his wife, actress Anushka Sharma.
Following Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) victorious victory in the IPL 2025 final, Bhawna posted a joyful message on Instagram, prompting the clarification.
But in the midst of the festivities, a troll asked why Virat and Anushka don't publicly recognise her or even like her social media posts in her comments section. In a since-deleted reply, Bhawna responded to the remark in a respectful but direct manner.
She wrote, "May God give you the patience to understand love can exist in many ways, which is not necessarily shown to the world, but it is still there, like the love for the almighty. Hope you have enough love in your life, no insecurities, only true bonds which don't need any validation. God bless you."
Earlier, Bhawna had posted an emotional tribute to her brother after RCB's historic victory. Her post read: "This night, this moment where we celebrate this dream which made us cry which made us laugh, but the wait that you did is far too long. Each and every second of the moment needs to be experienced with stillness and a strange calmness that it's actually done..."
She added, "All of us can't express the humility and thankfulness towards the almighty and millions of fans who were right behind RCB though thick and thin, this win is everybody's personal win. Your tears were felt in the eyes of everyone who loves you. We cried with you because you, my little Veeru, are the gods' chosen one who brings so much joy and inspiration to everyone. Blessed to witness this and someone in heaven is smiling in his usual smile, looking at his son, making him proud"
Unfortunately, the euphoria surrounding RCB’s win was overshadowed by a tragic incident in Bengaluru. A stampede during the celebrations claimed 11 lives and injured 47 others. Expressing his sorrow, Virat Kohli shared RCB’s official statement and wrote on Instagram: "At a loss of words. Absolutely gutted." The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2017, are now parents to two children, Vamika and Akaay.
