The Indian film industry is mourning the loss of the legendary actor Manoj Kumar. He died on April 4, Friday, at the age of 87. He was admitted to the hospital in Mumbai and had been under medical care since February 21 due to chronic heart-related complications.
However, arrangements for the funeral of late Bollywood legend Manoj Kumar are underway at his residence, with the cremation ceremony set to be held at Pawan Hans. A video from the funeral is going viral on the internet, with the late actor’s relatives making arrangements for the services.
Meanwhile, another video showed an ambulance carrying the late actor’s remains. The ambulance was adorned with tricolour flowers arranged to resemble the Indian flag to pay respect to the actor.
However, Manoj Kumar’s son Kunal Goswami had previously shared the schedule of the final rites with the media. He said, “We will leave the hospital at 9. We will come here at 10 at our house. And at 11, we will go to Pawan Hans for cremation.”
Several A-list Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend the funeral service. However, Manoj Kumar's last rites will be performed at a cremation ground in Juhu at around 11:30 am.

The veteran actor, who was also known as Bharat Kumar, had captivated fans with his powerful patriotic roles and socially relevant films. He was also awarded the Padma Shri in 1992 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2015.
