TV show "Dhruv Tara - Samay Sadi Se Pare" unveils major shift in plot with 19th Century time-travel twist

Sony SAB's show "Dhruv Tara - Samay Sadi Se Pare," a time-travelling love story, took a thrilling turn in the latest shift in narration. In a desperate attempt to escape danger, Dhruv and Tara's time travel malfunctions, landing them not in the future, but in the 19th century.

This unexpected twist brings a dramatic shift to their characters. Tara, the once fierce warrior princess, transforms into a reserved young woman. Dhruv, the skilled doctor from the 21st century, finds himself disoriented and disillusioned, becoming a discontented young man yearning to leave India altogether.

Ishaan Dhawan, who plays the role of Dhruv, said, “Dhruv has gone through many challenges in his journey to unite with Tara and just when it was time to go back to the era he belongs to, life threw another challenge at him. While one chapter of Dhruv-Tara’s life has ended and it is time for a new beginning in a completely new century, with new characters. This new twist in Dhruv's journey is incredibly exciting for me as an actor. Portraying a character who transitions from a dedicated doctor in the 21st century to a lazy, aimless young man in the 19th century offers a unique challenge.
