The Ambani family dance merrily to Deewangi Deewangi from Om Shanti Om at Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant’s sangeet

At a glamorous sangeet ceremony on Friday evening in Mumbai, Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife Nita Ambani, along with their family, took to the dance floor to perform to Shah Rukh Khan’s hit song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ from the movie Om Shanti Om. This celebration was part of the pre-wedding festivities for their son, Anant Ambani, and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant.

Nita Ambani captured everyone’s attention with a mesmerising display of her Bharatnatyam skills during the dance performance, earning the loudest applause. Dressed in a stunning pink lehenga, she danced passionately alongside her family. Mukesh Ambani complemented her in a stylish navy blue kurta pajama paired with a matching jacket. Anant and Radhika, appearing deeply in sync with each other, danced joyfully to the popular Bollywood tune.

The sangeet was a star-studded event, graced by celebrities such as Salman Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor.

The wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant kicked off with the Mameru ceremony at the Ambani residence, Antilia, in Mumbai on Wednesday. The couple is set to marry in Mumbai on July 12. In the days leading up to the wedding, Mukesh Ambani extended a personal invitation to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Anant also personally invited Bollywood icons Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn.

The distribution of wedding invitations began with Nita Ambani, the chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, offering the first invite at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, seeking divine blessings for the couple’s union.
