Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have just expanded their family. Millie has announced that she has adopted a daughter with her hubby, Jake.
Millie took to her Instagram and shared a joint post announcing the big news on Thursday morning.
She shared the news on her Instagram with an illustration and wrote, “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption.” She added, "We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
The actress also included a picture of a willow tree in the announcement poster. The adoption announcement came just a few weeks after she faced rumours about pregnancy.
For the unversed, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, started dating in 2021. The couple were engaged in 2023 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2024. The couple had frequently faced backlash for rushing into the marriage, but they are going strong.
On the work front, Millie became a breakout actor with her performance in Netflix’s Stranger Things. She played the lead role of Eleven when she was just 12 years old. She and other cast members of the series grew up on the set, and now fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the fifth and final instalment of the hit series.
Stranger Things Season 5 will premiere in three parts on Netflix later this year; part 1 will drop on Thanksgiving, followed by part 2 on Christmas. Stranger Things finale will be released on New Year’s Eve.
Millie is also gearing up for the highly anticipated Enola Holmes 3 with Henry Cavill.
