One of the most iconic films in the history of Telugu cinema is making a grand return to the silver screen. The beloved fantasy-romance Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, starring the legendary Sridevi and megastar Chiranjeevi, is set to re-release in cinemas across India in May, in both 2D and 3D formats.
The film, which debuted in 1990 and immediately won over viewers' hearts, is hailed as a cinematic masterpiece that revolutionised the genre with its inventive narrative and remarkable performances.
Fans now have the opportunity to relive the magic more than thirty years later, with improved audio and visuals that provide a nostalgic yet modern viewing experience.
The film will re-release on 9th May in theatres.

The film, which was directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, captivated audiences of all ages by fusing modern drama with mythological elements. One of Sridevi's favourite parts is still her portrayal of an ethereal celestial being, and Chiranjeevi's captivating performance gave the narrative charm and gravity.
