Shubman Gill responds to his relationship rumours with Avneet Kaur, Sara Tendulkar, Sara Ali Khan:  I’ve never seen or met that person...

Indian cricketer Shubman Gill recently responded to the persistent rumours that he was associated with a number of well-known people, such as Avneet Kaur, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, and Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar. Shubman laughed off any hint of romantic involvement in a recent interview, calling the rumours "so ridiculous."

Shubman finally corrected the record in an open interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. Despite persistent rumours, he clarified that he has been unmarried for more than three years.

"There have been so many rumours and speculations linking me with different people. And sometimes, it would be so ridiculous that I’ve never seen or met that person ever in my life. Right now, I’m so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There’s no space in my life to be able to be with someone. Three hundred days, we’re on the road, travelling somewhere. So there’s hardly any time to invest in a relationship with someone," he explained.

Sara Ali Khan also addressed her alleged link-up with Shubman during an appearance on Koffee with Karan Season 8. With the audience chanting "Sara! Sara!" while Shubman was batting, she quipped amusingly, "You’ve got the wrong Sara, guys! Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechhe pada hai."
