Shark Tank India 4 is a popular reality show that gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of investors, or "sharks," in hopes of securing an investment. In an upcoming episode, one of the pitches is set to feature a brand co-founded by Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor. The brand, Palmonas, is a demi-fine jewelry business, and while Shraddha is a co-founder, she won’t be appearing in the tank to pitch the brand herself.
Instead, the pitch will be made by the other two co-founders, Pallavi Mohadikar and Amol Patwari, who will ask the sharks for funding to help grow their jewelry brand. In a promo circulating online, the co-founders introduce their brand, saying, “Welcome to the world of demi-fine jewelry. With our third co-founder, Shraddha Kapoor, we are building India’s most loved demi-fine jewelry brand.” This leaves the sharks curious about Shraddha’s absence, as they wonder why she is not there to pitch her own brand.
Aman Gupta, one of the sharks and the co-founder of boAt, questions, “Shraddha Kapoor didn’t come?” Pallavi responds humorously, explaining, “She was very excited to come on the show. I told her, yeh tumhari expertise nahi hai (this is not your expertise),” which leads to a moment of laughter among the sharks. The comment is a playful reference to a common line on Shark Tank India, where investor Namita Thapar often says, “Ye meri expertise nahi hain, I’m out,” a phrase that has become a meme among fans of the show.

The entrepreneurs in Shark Tank India 4 include a wide range of successful business leaders. The investors, or sharks, are Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO of People Group, including Shaadi.com), Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Ritesh Agarwal (Founder and Group CEO of OYO), Peyush Bansal (Co-Founder and CEO of Lenskart), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Varun Dua (Founder and CEO of ACKO), Kunal Bahl (Co-Founder of Snapdeal and Titan Capital), and Viraj Bahl (Founder and Managing Director of Veeba/VRB Consumer Products).
The show provides a great platform for budding businesses to grow, and it will be interesting to see if Palmonas can secure a deal with the sharks. Given the growing popularity of demi-fine jewelry in India and the backing of Shraddha Kapoor’s celebrity status, the brand might have a good chance at success. However, the sharks will be looking for more than just star power; they will want to see strong business potential and a clear plan for growth.
