Shah Rukh Khan was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport, returning from an undisclosed location. The actor made a stylish appearance, donning a brown leather jacket over a T-shirt, paired with denim jeans and shoes.
He completed his travel look with a cap, dark sunglasses, and a bag. Accompanied by his manager Pooja Dadlani and his security team, Shah Rukh exited the airport without stopping for photographs and headed straight to his car.
Fans were quick to praise his appearance, with many calling him the "OG Don." Comments on social media poured in, with one fan saying, "I feel happy when I see you, King Shah Rukh Khan. I love you forever, you are my whole life."
Another user remarked, "Royal entry of the King of Bollywood." His return sparked excitement among fans, who eagerly welcomed him back.
Shah Rukh Khan is set to take the stage as a host for the upcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024. The event, which will be held on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, from September 27 to 29, marks Shah Rukh’s return to hosting IIFA after nearly a decade.
He will be joined by Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, and Rana Daggubati as co-hosts. The star-studded event will also feature performances by veteran actor Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon.
At the press conference for the awards, Shah Rukh expressed his excitement about hosting the event again, saying, "I'm so privileged to be hosting this show with Vicky and Karan, and all the amazing talent. Some of us are present here this evening. And of course, there's going to be great performances to follow. There's going to be Shahid, Vicky, Jahnvi, Kriti, and of course, the most wonderful star of them all, Rekha ji." He added that he had been called to host the show before, but scheduling conflicts had prevented it.
In his film career, Shah Rukh was last seen in Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He will soon be appearing in King, a crime drama directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, and Abhay Verma.
