Rupali Ganguly, like many Mumbai residents, is tired about the mismanagement by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
After spending hours trapped in traffic, the actress recently vented her fury on social media. She recorded a video discussing the severe traffic outside of Film City brought on the Metro construction. She criticized the authorities for taking Mumbaikars for granted in the video.
Rupali Ganguly, star of Anupamaa, posted a video on X claiming that she had been trapped in traffic outside Film City for almost fifty minutes. She described how the road gets blocked when huge containers are hauled in for work. Instead of picking a time when people were heading to work, she argued, it should have been done in the early hours when there is less traffic.
In a note, she wrote, "Still stuck for over 1 hour now outside filmcity ! For a 14 km distance it takes me 2 hours to get home at night and mornings usually 1 hour but because of @mybmc haphazard functioning it took me 2 and a half hours to get to my set !! Stop taking #mumbaikars for granted."
She shared another video that showed the greenery of FilmCity being destroyed.
In the past too many celebrities in the likes of Shivin Narang, Ssharad Malhotra, Sanjay Gagnani and many others have complained and shared their woes on traffic jams.
