Ad filmmaker and EiPi Media founder Rohit Reddy has sent shockwaves through the internet with his latest creation — a trailer for Mahabharata 2800 AD, entirely generated using artificial intelligence. The futuristic spin on the Indian epic has garnered significant attention on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram, with audiences praising its visual brilliance and bold reimagining.

Titled Mahabharata 2800 AD, the trailer offers a glimpse into a dystopian world, heavily reminiscent of high-concept films like 300 and Dune. The teaser boasts stunning visuals — dilapidated ruins, dramatic lighting, and hyper-realistic characters — all produced without a single human actor or live-action shoot.

“We imagined, we delivered,” reads Rohit’s caption on Instagram, emphasizing the use of generative AI tools. According to reports, seven AI platforms were used in creating the sizzle reel. While Rohit hasn’t revealed the full list of tools or technical workflow, the end result is undeniably impressive. Viewers have pointed out how the CGI characters look more lifelike than some of the past human-starring adaptations of the epic.

What’s even more notable is how Reddy, often known in mainstream circles as actor Anita Hassanandani’s husband, is carving out a strong creative identity of his own. After quitting a long-standing corporate career, he co-founded EiPi Media in 2018 with his wife. Since then, the agency has produced content for major brands including Adidas, Too Yum, Euro Pratik, Lenskart, Fossil, BBlunt, and more.
