Rishab Shetty’s wife, Pragati Shetty, has expressed her gratitude and excitement for being part of the blockbuster film Kantara: Chapter 1.
Since its October 2, 2025, release, the film has garnered high praise from both reviewers and viewers, in addition to impressive box office results.
Rishab Shetty's wife, Pragati Shetty, who designed the costumes for the film, took to Instagram and shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets, giving fans a glimpse into the detailed work that went into bringing the film’s spiritual and earthy world to life.
Along with the pictures, she penned an emotional note that read, “Being a part of Kantara: Chapter 1 has been a truly unforgettable journey. Designing costumes for a story so rooted, raw, and divine was more than work — it was an emotion. Grateful to have woven a small part of this magnificent vision.”
Kantara: Chapter 1 is set in the 4th century AD and explores the sacred origins of the mystical land of Kantara. The film explores rich mythology, ancient conflicts, and divine interventions, telling a story of folklore, faith, and fire, all rooted in the land itself.
The film is performing excellent at the box office as it has already grossed more than Rs 300 crore worldwide within four days of its release.
A part of Moneycontrol's review of Kantara: Chapter 1 read, "Kantara: Chapter 1 is a great show that could be on stage because of its great acting, visuals, and action scenes that are out of this world. The movie is nonetheless fun and memorable, even though its slow pace and too much detail in the plot make it a little hard to follow. Rishab Shetty is great again, while Rukmini Vasanth adds dimension to a well-written part."
