On November 4, the people behind Kaantha, which stars Dulquer Salmaan, released the long-awaited teaser on social media. The brief but intense look sets the stage for a dramatic fight between Dulquer Salmaan and Samuthirakani, which will be a thrilling movie experience.
Selvamani Selvaraj, who is best known for his popular Netflix documentary series The Hunt for Veerappan, directed Kaantha, which takes place in Madras State in the 1950s. The movie looks at how music, art, and new ideas changed over time in Indian culture.
Dulquer Salmaan wrote, "THE FIRST SPARK – OUT NOW!" when he shared the teaser. "TRAILER ON NOV 6th!" hints that audiences will soon get a bigger look.
People say that Kaantha is based on the life of the famous Tamil actor M.K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, and Dulquer is said to play a character based on him. Samuthirakani plays an important role in the movie, and Bhagyashri Borse plays the main female character.
A teaser from earlier showed Samuthirakani's character mentoring Dulquer's character, giving us a look at the emotional and philosophical depth of their relationship.
Release and production all over India
Kaantha was supposed to come out on September 12, but it will now come out in theaters around the world on November 14, the same day as the Diwali celebrations. Dulquer's most ambitious project to date, the movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media, Prashanth Potluri, and Jom Varghese all worked together to make the movie, which is being marketed as a big holiday release. Rana Daggubati said, "Diwali just got a whole lot more explosive!" when he announced the date. From November 14th, Kaantha will be lighting up theaters all over the world! "Happy Diwali to you all!
