After a rough night for Team Varanasi at the GlobeTrotter event in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, the controversy began. Even though there was a lot of planning and excitement, technological problems kept getting in the way of showing the first look at the movie, which made Rajamouli very emotional.

The director apologized to thousands of fans, many of whom had traveled in from all over the world. Rajamouli remarked in Telugu that he was upset about what his father, writer Vijayendra Prasad, had said earlier about how Lord Hanuman's blessings were guiding the crew.
