Actor Ravi Mohan, who is fondly called Jayam Ravi and singer-turned-therapist Kenishaa Francis have hit the headlines again with their relationship reports as they yet again join hands for the first time. The pair recently attended producer Ishari Ganesh’s daughter’s wedding, wearing matching ivory and gold ethnic ensembles, and they were seated next to each other — which is when a video featuring them surfaced on social media.
Rumours about their relationship first did the rounds soon after Jayam Ravi confirmed his split with his wife Aarti Ravi. Although both Ravi and Kenishaa had refuted these reports then, the recent spotting has only had people talking, and fans as well as netizens are left curious about their relationship now.
Kenishaa about meeting Ravi for the first time
In an earlier interview with IBC Mangai, Kenishaa had said that when she first met the Ponniyin Selvan star at one of her concerts.
“I was starstruck, completely,” she said. “I was, like, Jayam Ravi, the Ponniyin Selvan actor, over here? Oh my god. He was very sweet. I told him I was a big fan. To have them even just attend the event was a big thing for me.”
She also talked about the first meeting him, when Ravi attempted to set her at ease. “Jayam walked into the room and the first thing he said was, ‘Don’t be afraid. He’s very attractive. And his wife, I was also a big fan of hers. They were my pride.”

The Other Side of Aarti Ravi
In the wake of the renewed public interest in Ravi and Kenishaa, it is interesting to note that Jayam Ravi’s former wife, Aarti Ravi, had previously expressed her unhappiness at the way their separation was dragged through the headlines. She wrote in an open letter that she "did not know what the full list of concerns" would be until it hit the media, implying that the breakup was shocking to her.
To date, neither Ravi nor Kenishaa has responded to rumours that these reports are true or false. But their recent rendezvous was certainly jaw-dropping, and now fans want to know what will be next for the Parasakthi actor and the mystery lady.
