In a bold and emotional comeback, YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, opened up about the much-talked-about controversy surrounding his show India’s Got Latent. Addressing the issue in the first episode of his new podcast, Allahbadia sat down with Buddhist monk Palga Rinpoche for a conversation that was not just about the fallout but also about self-reflection, forgiveness, and growth.

The controversy began when Ranveer posed a sexually explicit question to a contestant on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent, asking, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” The remark sparked intense backlash across social media and led to widespread outrage.

In his comeback episode, Ranveer didn’t shy away from acknowledging the situation. He candidly spoke about the emotional toll the controversy took on him and how it forced him to confront harsh truths about people he once trusted. Speaking with monk Rinpoche, whom he referred to as his “mentor,” Ranveer revealed how the incident exposed the “real faces” of many people in his life.

He reflected, “He said he saw the ‘real faces’ of those who called him friend once, but didn’t stand by him during the entire case.”
