As stated by NCW, comedians and influencers have issued formal apologies on Friday after coming under fire for using inappropriate language during Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent.

NCW chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar spoke to the media about the issue, stating, "All of them presented apologies before the Commission. They also said that they won't make any such mistake in future...They said that they would be mindful of their words which don't hurt anyone. They would think before speaking."

She further added, "Ranveer Allahbadia and others said that what they said cannot be taken back but they would try to be mindful of their words in shows and speak of women's respect."

The controversy ignited after a clip from the episode went viral where Ranveer Allahbadia was seen asking a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have s*x every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?"

The remark quickly went viral leading to public outrage and an official response from the National Commission for Women (NCW).
