Siddaramaiah wrote, "Telugu actor Ram Charan, who is in Mysore shooting the movie Peddi, met me today and we talked for a while."

The encounter took place at a difficult moment because production had to stop for a short time after the death of Allu Kanakaratnam, the wife of renowned actor Padma Shri Allu Ramalingaiah and the grandmother of Allu Arjun. Ram Charan, who is Allu Arjun’s cousin, stepped away from the production to be with family before resuming filming in Mysore.

Buchi Babu Sana is in charge of Peddi, which will depict Ram Charan in a very distinct way. The actor will look very different from his previous performances, with long hair, a huge beard, and even a nose ring.
