Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film 120 Bahadur, slated to hit theatres in November 2025. While the makers have kept most details under wraps, recent reports suggest that the female lead has now been finalised.
According to Hindustan Times, actress Raashii Khanna has been roped in to play the female lead in the patriotic war drama. A source close to the development revealed that Raashii has officially joined the project and will be seen alongside Farhan.
The source further added, “Raashii has already proven her versatility with films like The Sabarmati Report and Yodha. The makers of 120 Bahadur felt she could bring emotional depth and strength to a story that is as powerful and patriotic as this one.”
Her involvement has already generated a lot of buzz, even though the filmmakers have not yet formally confirmed her precise role in the movie.
The epic Battle of Rezang La, which occurred during the Indo-China War, is the focus of Razneesh Ghai's film 120 Bahadur. Major Shaitan Singh, a national hero who received the Param Vir Chakra posthumously for his extraordinary bravery and sacrifice, will be portrayed by Farhan Akhtar.

The movie was filmed at an elevation of about 14,000 feet in the harsh Ladakh landscape. The cast and crew faced difficult circumstances, as previously reported, with temperatures as low as minus 5 to minus 10 degrees Celsius, depicting the brutality of war in one of the most unforgiving environments.
Raashii Khanna earned widespread appreciation for her performance in The Sabarmati Report, where she starred alongside Vikrant Massey. Known for her work in films like Yodha, World Famous Lover, and Madras Cafe, Raashii has established herself across multiple industries, appearing predominantly in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema.
