The Kapoor family has given fans an intimate, humorous glimpse into their famously candid bond. In a newly released clip from Dining With The Kapoors, the Netflix special curated by actor-turned-chef Armaan Jain, members of the legendary Kapoor Khandaan reveal who among them speaks without a filter and who tops the list as the family’s biggest glutton.
As always, their answers come with the trademark Kapoor mix of warmth, banter and unabashed honesty.
The conversation kicks off when Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reads the first question aloud: Which Kapoor has no filter? Rima Jain immediately points to her nephew Ranbir Kapoor, saying, “He shoots out. Bol deta hai kuchh bhi.” Ranbir, however, redirects the spotlight to the older generation. “Not this generation, but the generation above us, none of them had a filter,” he remarks.
Supporting her son’s claim, Neetu Kapoor lists off a few names from her era: “Dabbu, Chimpu, Rima, my husband, had no filter.” But Armaan Jain has his own opinion, confidently nominating Kareena Kapoor Khan. Bebo, in classic Bebo style, defends herself by dragging the entire clan along], “I think all the Kapoors don’t have a filter, do they? You can’t just name one. The entire family.”
The laughter continues as the group tackles the next question: Who is the biggest glutton? Aadar Jain sets the tone by defining a glutton as “someone who stuffs himself”, and from there, the confessions begin. Kareena quickly volunteers a few names, saying, “Toss up between me, Armaan, Aadar.” Ranbir counters by naming Rima Bua.
However, the majority, including Armaan, Nitasha Nanda and Neetu Kapoor, zero in on Ranbir. Nitasha says, “I think so Ranbir loves to eat a lot.” Neetu goes a step further, sharing a moment that left her genuinely stunned. “He can really eat. Once I was shocked. I said, ‘Ranbir, you eat so much?’”
