Poulomi revealed a traumatic event from her past that has significantly impacted her life. "I got engaged with someone in 2022. I had brain haemorrhage after that, so I don’t remember anything that has happened just before the brain haemorrhage," she confessed.

They told me you are not fit. I am dark and I got rejected because I wasn’t fair. They told me we want North Indian look. I am from Bengali household. Muze nahi farak padta," she stated, with a tone of resilience and defiance.
