Raghava Lawrence, an actor and director known for being nice, has announced a new project that is quite lovely. On Wednesday, he announced the inauguration of Virundhu – Kanmani Annadhana Virundhu, a restaurant named after his mother that strives to give people who might not have had the chance to try high-end food the chance to do so.

The Jigarthanda: Double X star revealed the news on X (previously Twitter), calling it "a new beginning" and explaining what the project was all about. Lawrence also uploaded a video of the first meals being eaten with kids and elders from the Nari Kuravargal community on the first day. He went on to say, "Seeing how happy they were as they enjoyed the different foods made me feel thankful." With all of your love and blessings, I wish to continue on this road of feeding everyone and letting them enjoy a wide range of cuisines.

Lawrence has a long history of giving to charity, and this project is just another example. Over the years, he has given a lot of money from his own wealth to help with healthcare, education, flood relief, and COVID-19 aid. Through Virundhu, he mixes healthy food with a chance to learn about different cuisines, which takes his social work to the next level.
