Known for her fearless and unfiltered approach, actress, producer, and host Nikita Rawal has never shied away from speaking the truth—especially on sensitive issues. Be it her bold takes on the entertainment industry or the glam world’s hidden realities, Nikita has always been someone who chooses courage over silence. This time, she’s raising her voice on a topic that’s often brushed under the carpet—mental health.
Mental well-being is something Nikita takes seriously—not just for herself but for those around her as well. Her journey has been marked with success, resilience, and self-awareness, and she continuously advocates for others to prioritize their mental health just as much as their careers. When asked about her thoughts on the increasing mental pressure in the entertainment industry and the tragic cases of actors taking their own lives, Nikita shared a powerful message.
“For me, mental health has always been extremely important. If you are in a good and positive space of mind, you can take good care of yourself both personally and professionally. That’s what I always intend,” says Nikita.
She further adds, “To be honest, I don’t let anything get into my head. Neither do I take my success too seriously or my failure. Both success and failure are part of an individual’s life and it’s important to have that bifurcation between personal and professional life. You can’t let either affect your sanity.”
Touching upon the unfortunate incidents of celebrity suicides, Nikita expresses heartfelt sorrow:
“Yes, unfortunately many actors in the past have fallen to the pressure of mental health and have committed suicide. It’s heartbreaking and I am in no position to comment about what made them take the extreme step and neither should I comment. It’s very unfortunate.”
However, she emphasizes the role of loneliness behind such tragedies.

“Sometimes, as celebrities, you might feel that the world around is yours and still feel very lonely. That loneliness is very disturbing. So, I would say to everyone that whenever you feel that things aren’t right, just speak and communicate with someone. Don’t absorb the pressure all by yourself.”
Her closing advice is simple yet impactful:
“Speak to your near and dear ones and if needed, take professional help regarding mental health. Life is the universe’s best gift to us and we must do everything needed positively to protect it. May God bless everyone with love and blessings.”
Nikita’s honest and empathetic words are a reminder of the emotional challenges many face behind the spotlight. Kudos to her for bravely addressing this critical issue. We hope her message reaches far and wide, inspiring many to seek help and choose hope.
