After weeks of fan anticipation, the in-movie track Golden by the girl group Huntr/x has officially reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making history as the first K-pop girl group song to claim the top spot. The moment mirrors the film’s plot so perfectly that fans are calling it a “real-life Honmoon sealing.”

“GOLDEN IS GOING UP, UP, UP, TO NO. 1 ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100. HUNTR/X (EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI) have officially sealed the Honmoon.”

According to Billboard, Golden drew nearly 32 million official streams in the first week of August, cementing its spot at the summit. This marks the ninth time a K-pop act has topped the Hot 100, and notably, the very first for female artists.
