"When I saw Shiva again a few days ago, it was like seeing a new movie." "It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience," the actor remarked. He thought fondly of how his father, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, reacted to the movie's success. "I remember my dad watching it two days after it came out."

Nagarjuna smiled and said, "The movie is a big hit," even though everyone was talking about it. When asked if his sons, Naga Chaitanya or Akhil Akkineni, would ever contemplate about remaking the movie, Nagarjuna laughed and said, "Chay and Akhil are too scared to make a new Shiva." He said, "Chay and Akhil don't have the guts to make a new Shiva." He also remarked that if the right project came up, he would love to work with his wife Amala again.
