Stray Kids, the dynamic K-pop boy group known for their innovative music and electrifying performances, has reached a monumental milestone. On June 13, according to US local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Stray Kids had earned their third gold certification in the USA. This achievement places them as the second K-pop act ever to receive this honour, following the globally renowned BTS.

The RIAA bestowed the gold certification on Stray Kids for their hit song Back Door, which sold over 500,000 units in the USA. Back Door is celebrated for its theatrical and distinctive sound, blending hip-hop with pop and EDM elements, all infused with a festival-like energy that captivates listeners. This song marks the group's third single to receive gold certification from the RIAA, following the successes of MANIAC and God's Menu.

In addition to these singles, Stray Kids' albums 5-STAR and ROCK-STAR have also achieved gold status, bringing their total RIAA certifications to five.

Stray Kids' historic achievement is a testament to their relentless hard work and the unique musical style that sets them apart. Formed by JYP Entertainment, Stray Kids debuted on March 28, 2018, and quickly garnered attention with their fresh sound and intricate dance routines. The group consists of eight talented members: Bang Chan (leader), Changbin, Han, Seungmin, Hyunjin, Felix, Lee Know, and I.N. Central to their musical innovation is 3RACHA, a production unit within the group comprising Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, who are responsible for creating much of Stray Kids' music.
