In the latest development of the ongoing conflict between HYBE and ADOR, HYBE has issued a formal response regarding an email allegedly sent by the parents of NewJeans members. The response comes following the disclosure of an email chain by Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, earlier today, which purportedly included correspondence from the concerned parents.

In their statement released on May 13, HYBE acknowledged the receipt of the email mentioned in Min Hee Jin's communication on April 3. They clarified that they promptly responded on April 16, vehemently denying any accusations of plagiarism. Additionally, HYBE refuted claims suggesting neglect in their handling of the situation, dismissing them as unsubstantiated and misleading.

Expressing deep regret over what they perceive as Min Hee Jin's attempt to manipulate public perception, HYBE accused her of resorting to outdated tactics and dragging artists and their families into what they described as her personal conflicts driven by self-interest. They alleged possessing evidence indicating that the purported email from NewJeans' parents was in fact orchestrated by Min Hee Jin and Vice President L, part of a strategic manoeuver to gain control over management rights.

HYBE further disclosed their intention to present this evidence to investigative and legal authorities, signaling their commitment to addressing the matter transparently and comprehensively. They condemned Min Hee Jin for exploiting artists as shields for her own agenda and urged her to refrain from manipulating public opinion.
