Directed by Christian Breslauer, the music video shows a love stricken Ariana Grande who has built a shrine for the mayor (Penn Badgley). She turns on a press conference to see the mayor address the problem of rats plaguing the city while concocting a love potion for him. Once finished, she dons a Catwoman suit and breaks into his apartment. Brandy and Monica star as news reporters.

Penn Badgley shared a few BTS pictures from set with the caption - “The boy may be yours but the pleasure was all mine @arianagrande thank you for inviting me into your orbit for a moment & @christhedirector for building a little world to play in for a day. Hey ma I’m in a music video! And in the presence of @brandy and @monicadenise ?? Honoured to be alongside these icons.”
