Mrunal Thakur receives sweet pre-birthday surprise on Dacoit sets, watch video

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur got a delightful pre-birthday surprise while filming for her movie Dacoit. The actress, who will celebrate her 33rd birthday on August 1, was treated with a special moment by her co-star Adivi Sesh. He later posted a video of the celebration on Instagram.

In the video posted by Sesh, Mrunal enters a room where the cast and crew are gathered for a cake-cutting celebration. Dressed as her character, Juliet, she adds to the festive mood by dancing while everyone sings happy birthday to her to her.

On the same day Mrunal took to Instagram and reposted the celebration video on her story captioning it as, “Started my birthday celebration early with #Dacoitteam and wouldnt want to do it any other way!”, “BIGGGGGG JHAPPIS TO @adivisesh @supriyayarlagadda_original and the entire team.”

Shaneil Deo’s upcoming film Dacoit, a thrilling mix of romance and action, is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 25. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release.

In an interview with India Today, Sesh referred to Dacoit as a "labor of love." He highlighted the film's emotional richness, stating, " No Indian story is a true Indian film without heart, without emotion, so we wanted all these heightened emotions in 'Dacoit' set against the backdrop of an angry neo-Western, a 'Sholay' of 2025, if you will." He also praised Thakur, calling her "vibrant" and "positive," noting how her frequent travels have taught her to " figured out a way to make any place home."
