On its 2nd Tuesday, Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Srikanth' continues to captivate audiences and the movie has earned Rs 29.35 crore in 12 days.
The film’s inspiring story is a major draw, attracting viewers to cinemas nationwide. Loved by all ages, this heartwarming movie has solidified its status as a blockbuster.
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Hiranandani, 'Srikanth' features Rajkummar Rao, Jyotika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar. The powerful narrative and excellent performances continue to enchant moviegoers, making it a top reason to visit the cinema hall.
Rajkummar Rao has been earning accolades from all quarters ever since the movie's release on May 10. The actor was praised by Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh for his performance in the movie.
Akshay went on to write that Rajkummar Rao should start taking acting classes as he was so good in the movie. "Nothing is impossible. #Srikanth is a must watch! Picture dekh ke mazza aa gaya. Rajkummar Rao, bhai ab toh acting classes shuru kar de. You are simply brilliant,” he mentioned while praising the actor.
Rajkummar thanked Akshay for his kind words and wrote: "Thank you so much my dearest Akshay sir. Aapse hi seekhte hai sir. You’re the best."
Ranveer Singh also praised Srikanth makers and Rajkummar Rao, he wrote: "An uplifting story & a beautiful performance from a special actor. Congrats to the team of #Srikanth.”
Srikanth is based on the life of industrialist, Srikanth Bolla, who despite being visually impaired defied all obstacles and achieved success in life.
As per our review of 'Srikanth', the film’s biggest win is that it compels the able-bodied viewers to question the preconceived notions they have about the differently-abled. The disabled, of course, are not paragons of virtue. They can have problematic traits, as does Srikanth, whose arrogance gets him expelled from his school. It is a radical step towards normalising the disabled who, like the rest of the world, have both vices and virtues."
