Sara Ali Khan’s dramatic entry in the first few minutes of Netflix’s latest film Murder Mubarak is reason enough for everyone’s eyes to stray towards her. As Bambi ‘vidhwa’ Todi, she takes a tumble and mutters a ‘F**k’ under her breath before sheepishly grinning at everyone. However, what also caught the audience’s attention and approval is her on-point dressing for the film.

Speaking about her character Bambi Todi, Khan had said in an interview, “It's been some time since I portrayed an urban and glamorous character. It's not my usual style. I'm more inclined to keeping my hair casual and wearing traditional attire like a salwar kameez.” Indeed, in many of her films, including Kedarnath, Atrangi Re and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Khan has mostly been seen in traditional attire. Even off-screen, the actress is mostly seen in salwar-kameez and prefers going makeup-less.

In another sequence from her wedding anniversary party, she appears in a figure-hugging shimmery gold dress and bold red lipstick. Her choice of colours for her gym-wear and swimwear too comprises neon greens, oranges and bright pinks.
