The movie 'Srikanth,' starring Rajkummar Rao, has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. Despite the election period, when theater attendance is typically low, the film has managed to attract a significant audience. 'Srikanth' is a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and founder of Bollant Industries. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film also features Jyothika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.

The movie opened to positive responses, with its compelling storyline and strong performances drawing in viewers. On its opening day, 'Srikanth' collected Rs 2.25 crores. The film saw a decent hike in numbers over the opening weekend, despite facing some dips during the weekdays. However, it managed to maintain a stronghold at the box office, earning Rs 1.5 crores on its eighth day (second Friday).

By the ninth day (second Saturday), 'Srikanth' had collected Rs 2.83 crores, bringing its total earnings to Rs 22.18 crores. This impressive performance continued over the weekend, with the movie showing an 88.6% jump in numbers during the second weekend. Overall, 'Srikanth' has earned Rs 22.53 crores in nine days, showcasing its strong appeal to the audience.

Rajkummar Rao's portrayal of Srikanth Bolla has been widely praised. The actor has consistently proven his versatility and talent in various roles throughout his career. In an interview with Firstpost, Rajkummar shared that he could relate to the character's perseverance, grit, and humble background. He said, "I could definitely resonate with his perseverance, with his grit and his working nature. I wouldn't say exactly, but I could somehow relate to his background because he too comes from a very humble background. And in my life also there were a lot of hardships when it came to money and having a big dream in life and to actually achieve that dream was something I could relate to."
