Preity Zinta recently praised her co-actor Manisha Koirala for her outstanding performance in the new show, 'Heeramandi'. Preity and Manisha first worked together in the film 'Dil Se', which marked the beginning of Preity's career in Bollywood. This movie also starred Shah Rukh Khan and was directed by Mani Ratnam in 1998.

In a heartfelt post, Preity shared her admiration for Manisha, describing her as a 'powerhouse of talent.' She recalled how Manisha took her under her wing during the shooting of 'Dil Se' and provided valuable guidance throughout the film's production. Preity wrote, "I love you Manisha, I saw the show for you & you killed it. You are such a powerhouse of talent & an even better human being. I will never forget how lovely, welcoming & generous you were to me in Dil Se. Thanks to you I started my film career on a strong note."

Manisha Koirala has been receiving a lot of praise for her role in 'Heeramandi', where she plays Mallikajaan, a formidable 'tawaif' (courtesan). The show is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Manisha expressed her joy at reuniting with Bhansali after more than two decades. She mentioned, "I waited 28 years for Sanjay to call me and it's been a pleasure. It's an honour to be working with that genius. A lot of hard work and pyaar mohabbat has gone into making Heeramandi. We have made the show with so much love, and we expect you all to love it."
