Anurag Basu's eagerly anticipated movie Metro... In Dino finally debuted in theatres on July 4. Even though the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, the movie did not do well at the box office.
The multi-star film will finally be available to stream on an OTT platform, months after its theatrical release. Netflix has recently announced Metro… In Dino OTT release date is on its official social media handle.
Metro… In Dino will be available to stream on Netflix from August 29.

With little competition at the box office, Metro In Dino faced strong competition with Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda's film Saiyaara and Kajol's Maa.
Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur starred in the film, which did poorly at the box office despite strong anticipation, franchise appeal, and intensive promotion.
Despite starting at a low Rs 3.5 crore, the movie saw some growth in the days that followed. Up until Saiyaara's release on the third Monday, it continuously made more than Rs 1 crore every day. Metro In Dino made Rs 52.1 crore during its four-week run in theatres.
The sequel to the 2007 hit Life In A Metro featured an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Anupam Kher.

Set in four major Indian cities, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Delhi, the film explores love in all its manifestations as a romance anthology. Stories of Gen Z romance in the digital age and stories of rediscovering love later in life are skillfully woven together. Metro In Dino provides a genuine depiction of how relationships develop in today's hectic, fast-paced urban environment. It is warm, bittersweet, and incredibly human.
