In the latest episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 there is a change in dynamics between the members of the Virani family. It so happens that Tulsi approaches Mihir, accusing him of unfairly favouring their daughter Pari and mocking Nandini.
She tells him that although Pari is sensitive, she cannot be blindly trusted, and that Nandini is also their daughter.
Tulsi notes that, in sharp contrast to how she herself never distinguished between her biological and adopted children, Mihir's harsh remarks caused Nandini to feel alienated in her own house.
Tulsi feels humiliated and certain that Mihir has lost sight of Pari after he brushes off her worries, maintains he was correct, and requests to be left to sleep alone.
In the meantime, Ritik cautions Pari that by focusing on Nandini, who looks out for everyone, she is abusing their father's confidence and causing strife within the family. He warns her to not hurt her own family, but Pari firmly orders him to stop meddling.
Pari then manages to manipulate the situation by playing the victim by going to Mihir's office to get his approval for her studies.
She is spoiled by Mihir, who is totally influenced by her. Pari befriends Naina upon her arrival, accusing her mother Tulsi of being naive and saying she isn't a good fit for Mihir.
She makes up the story that Mihir is unable to support her because of Tulsi. Naina agrees to speak with Mihir on Pari's behalf after being impressed by his compliments about her being a sensible woman.
In a lighthearted moment, Ritik is warned about social media profiles by Daksha and Angad, who make fun of his pal Munmun.
Returning to the office, Mihir attempts to act as a go-between for Naina and Vikram. But after Mihir leaves, both Naina and Vikram blush when he tells her that she is wonderful and worthy of genuine love, and they both privately dream about each other.
In the episodes ahead, while Mihir tries to express Vikram's thoughts to Naina, Suchi tells her to quit daydreaming about him.
