In the latest episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Aditi Sharma was evicted from the Rohit Shetty-hosted adventure reality show. The episode, which aired live on August 18, was filled with high emotions as Aditi faced elimination.
Her departure came after a tense elimination stunt, where she competed against Shalin Bhanot, a decision made following a series of intense challenges and team performances.
The elimination was the result of a decision by captain Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who had to select two contestants from her team to face the dreaded stunt. Aditi Sharma and Shalin Bhanot were chosen after their team, which also included Gashmeer Mahajani, fell short in points compared to Sumona Chakravarti’s team during a crucial water task.
Nimrit explained that Gashmeer and Niyati Fatnani were exempt from the stunt due to their significant contributions in previous tasks, leaving Aditi and Shalin as the remaining options.
In an emotional moment, Nimrit expressed her difficulty in nominating Aditi, stating that Shilpa Shinde had performed better than Shalin in earlier tasks, leading to Shalin’s selection. Aditi, visibly distressed, expressed feelings of betrayal, stating, “I feel betrayed. I will never throw my friend under the bus. It is her choice; will do whatever best.” Her emotional farewell was marked by tears as she reflected on her journey and her efforts throughout the competition.
Host Rohit Shetty explained the elimination stunt, which involved Aditi and Shalin placing their heads in separate rotating boxes. Inside the boxes, there were cockroaches and scorpions.
The challenge was to collect as many scorpions as possible in five minutes, with the contestant who collected the most winning. Aditi managed to collect 151 scorpions, but Shalin edged out with 168, securing his place in the competition while Aditi was eliminated.
In her final moments on the show, Aditi bid an emotional goodbye, expressing that she had given her all. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia later sought to mend their bond, asking Aditi not to hold any grudges, emphasizing that her choices were limited and not personal.
The episode concluded with heartfelt farewells and reflections on the challenges faced throughout the season.
