Keanu Reeves' debut novel, The Book of Elsewhere, co-authored with China Miéville, delves into profound questions of life and death. The story follows an immortal warrior seeking an end to his eternal existence. Inspired by the concept of a character incapable of dying, which emerged during the creation of John Wick: Chapter 2, the novel explores themes of violence, love, and the human condition through the lens of an 80,000-year-old protagonist.

The actor revealed that writing his novel was a deeply personal experience. He shared that the creative process brought to light personal reflections, including contemplations on life, death, and unresolved childhood issues.
