The 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati has returned and has so far kept viewers glued to their TVs. Vijay Chaddha from Nashik, Maharashtra, just joined the quiz-based reality show presented by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Vijay Chaddha talked candidly about her desire to become KBC's hot seat since the show's debut in 2000 in the most recent promotional video, which the producers posted on Instagram. She was extremely open about how much she admired Big B. The most noteworthy part, however, was when Vijay revealed that she purposefully picked a son-in-law who was 6 feet 6 inches tall, motivated by Amitabh Bachchan's remarkable six foot stature.
"My son-in-law is six feet six inches tall, even though I chose a shorter husband, I chose a son-in-law who is taller than you," she said in jest.
Carrying the conversation ahead, she added, " I've been trying to get to KBC for 25 years. Amitabh Bachchan interrupted her, asking, "From KBC's inception?" to which she agreed.
Vijay Chaddha went on to say that in the past, she asked her husband to purchase a landline so she could try to join KBC.
In the earlier episode, she remembered, "Our whole family was seated together as I watched the first episode. "You think you are very intelligent, try sitting there then," a family member said back then.
Vijay Chaddha acknowledged in another part of the video that she had been a fan of Amitabh Bachchan since the 1973 release of his movie Zanjeer.
Amitabh Bachchan continued as the host for KBC season 17, maintaining his iconic role in the show's enduring popularity. He has consistently expressed his profound emotional connection to the contestants and their journeys on KBC.
On August 11, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 made its debut on Sony TV. One may stream it on SonyLIV as well.
