Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar are reuniting for an ambitious comedy trilogy, produced alongside Mahaveer Jain. Following the launch of their romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, the duo is now collaborating on a high-concept film packed with humor, surprises, and grand visuals.
The project will be directed by Fukrey filmmaker Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. “Mrighdeep Singh Lamba has been working on this high concept comedy for a while now, and the film is being designed as a trilogy with Kartik Aaryan in the lead. Karan has loved the concept and instantly agreed to bankroll the project for the big screen. It's a script which has potential to resonate with every section of cinema-going audience.”
A source revealed that the film is still in its pre-production phase, with the team focusing on enhancing its scale and visual appeal to deliver a unique theatrical experience.
They added that the project is more than just a comedy, as it aims to surprise audiences with its grand visuals. The film is expected to begin production in September 2025.
With the project set on a grand scale, the makers are targeting a 2026 release. This collaboration is poised to be a significant milestone in Kartik Aaryan’s career, reinforcing his reputation as a versatile actor with a stronghold in comedy.
