In the light of the increased cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has once again made headlines for her bold statements.
Kangana harshly denounced Pakistan on Friday on her Instagram Stories, calling it a "nasty nation full of terrorists" and even calling for its removal from the global map.
Kangana also reposted a WION news report highlighting how Pakistan was called out at the UN Security Council for its alleged involvement in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which tragically claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists. Alongside the report, Kangana wrote, “Bloody Cockroaches… creepy, nasty nation full of terrorists… should be wiped out from the world Map only."
Kangana’s strong statements followed Pakistan’s missile and drone strikes on May 8, which targeted several Indian regions including Jammu, Samba, Satwari, and Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir, as well as Amritsar and Jalandhar in Punjab, and Bikaner and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
India launched Operation Sindoor, a strategic offensive to destroy terror launch pads throughout Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, just one day prior to these attacks. The operation was started in direct response to the vicious terror attack that killed 26 people in Pahalgam.
Earlier she had also shared another post praising the Indian Defense System. She wrote, "In another post, she urged the people of Jammu to stay resilient amid threats. “Jammu On Target! Indian Air Defence Neutralises Pakistan Drone in #Jammu. Stay strong #Jammu."
Meanwhile, Kangana was last seen in Emergency, in which she portrayed the role of India's former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film had release on January 17 after much delay. It is now streaming on Netflix.
