Jr NTR kicks off promotions of Devara: Part 1 ahead of its release in Japan

Jr NTR starrer Devara was a massive hit among Indian audiences and now the makers are gearing up to release the film in Japan. The actor has a huge fan base in Japan, especially after the massive success of his film, RRR. The film notably became the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan breaking the long-standing record of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Muthu.

However, Jr NTR has not started promoting his recently released film, Devara Part: 1 in Japan. The film is all set to hit the Japanese theatres on March 28, 2025. NTR will notably visit the country on March 22 to promote the film.

Before his official visit, NTR started promoting the film online. The official X handle of the film shared two photos of the actor giving interviews to the Japanese media. The photos were accompanied by the caption that reads, “Man of Masses @Tarak9999 has kick started #Devara promotions with interviews for Japanese media ahead of his visit on March 22nd.”

Jr NTR is expecting to gain more stardom in Japan with the release of the latest film. Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and was released on September 27, 2024 in India. The film received a positive response from the critics and became a big success at the box office.

Alongside Jr NTR, Devara: Part 1 also features Shruti Marathe, Janhvi Kapoor and Sai Ali Khan in other key roles. The film depicts the story of a village chief's son who secretly continues his father's mission to end smuggling while pretending to be weak and maintaining the illusion that his father is still alive.
