Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB 3 is gearing up for release. The third instalment in the Jolly LLB promises to be packed with drama, humour, and courtroom chaos. The trailer has already teased Akshay Kumar’s Jolly face off against Arshad Warsi’s Jolly, creating a buzz among the fans. Now, the film has an update on its CBFC ratings.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification issued a censor certificate to the film on September 2. Jolly LLB 3 runs for 2 hours, 37 minutes, and 16 seconds, or 157.16 minutes.
The CBFC approved the movie with a U/A 16+ rating with a number of minor changes that have no bearing on the plot.
The board has asked the makers to replace the old disclaimer with a new one. They have also asked to blur an alcohol brand shown in the film. The makers are also asked to include a fictional place and year at the beginning.
In addition to this, the board has recommended removing the word “f****r" from the film. The makers have been asked to tone down a scene of cops assaulting an old man. In the same scene, a visible logo was changed, and a dialogue was changed to read "Emergency Clause."
In one scene of the film, Janaki, played by Seema Biswas, is seen carrying a file with a logo, which was also recommended to be blurred. A dialogue in the second half was altered to read, "Janki amma ka gaon sirf ek…. cheque muh pe fek ke mara.”
Presented by Star Studio18 and produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare, the film is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor.

Jolly LLB 3 brings both the Jollies from the first two films together, as Saurabh Shukla joins the two as Judge Tripathi for another ride. Like its predecessor, the film will be a social commentary on another relevant issue. As the trailer suggested, the two Jollies will be fighting a case involving the encroachment of farmers' lands by politicians and other influential people.
Jolly LLB 3 will release in the theatres on September 19.
