Imtiaz Ali teases ‘Rockstar 2’ possibility on Game Changers podcast, says "Ho sakta hai ki koi idea aa jaaye aur..."

The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, resonated with audiences for its emotional depth and the soulful journey of Jordan, a troubled musician. Even years after its release, the film continues to hold a special place in the hearts of movie lovers.

For years, fans have been eagerly awaiting the possibility of a Rockstar sequel, and now, there is a glimmer of hope. In a recent interview with Komal Nahta on his podcast Game Changers, Imtiaz Ali hinted at the prospect of Rockstar 2. The filmmaker expressed his openness to the idea, igniting excitement among his fan base.

Ali remarked, "Never say never. Ho sakta hai ki koi idea aa jaaye aur mujhe lage ki ye kahani, as a Rockstar Part 2 ya Rockstar thought, it might be nice," further adding, "Kabhi aisa hota hai ke koi wild thought Rockstar ko leke aa jaaye." (It is possible that an idea might come to me, and I feel that this story, as Rockstar Part 2 or a Rockstar thought, might be nice. Sometimes, a wild thought about Rockstar might come up.)
